Lewis advised publishers to diversify their content strategy, balancing traditional 16:9 videos with engaging YouTube Shorts. He also emphasised the value of YouTube’s Community features, such as polls and GIFs, for maintaining engagement. Additionally, Lewis pointed to YouTube’s role as the world’s second-largest search engine, encouraging publishers to maximise visibility by optimising video titles, tags, and descriptions with strategic SEO practices.
