eight&four Achieves 25 Million Video Views in Just One Week for Genesis Motor Europe

At eight&four, we’re proud to have partnered with Genesis Motor Europe for the third consecutive year, serving as the production partner for both the Genesis Scottish Open and the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This year’s collaboration was particularly special, as we successfully managed to deliver outstanding results for two major events in the same week.

Our team was tasked with content production, management, and influencer activation. We implemented a 'social-first' content strategy that not only met but exceeded expectations. The content we produced garnered over 25 million video views across both events, with an impressive average retention rate of over 65%. Additionally, we achieved more than 55 million impressions, driving significant awareness and connecting with new audiences aligned with these prestigious events.

  • Genesis Scottish Open Exclusive with Austin Kaiser: We had the opportunity to take viewers behind the scenes with Austin Kaiser, caddie to 2022 winner Xander Schauffele. This engaging video offered insights into what it takes to support top athletes and how the Genesis brand reflects performance and excellence - a message that resonated deeply with both golf enthusiasts and automotive fans.
  • Live Podcast from Goodwood: At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, we hosted two live podcast episodes featuring YouTuber Sam from Seenthroughglass, racing legend Jacky Ickx, hillclimb drivers, and automotive photographer Alex Stead. These dynamic discussions explored the future of the automotive industry, touching on technological advancements and evolving racing trends. Recording at the Genesis booth during Goodwood weekend allowed for real-time interaction with festival attendees, adding an extra layer of engagement for our audience.
  • Celebrating the Unsung Heroes of the Genesis Scottish Open: We also produced a heartfelt video that paid tribute to the behind-the-scenes heroes of the Genesis Scottish Open, from chefs to car coordinators.
