As Lead Global Social Media agency for ME by Melia, it was essential to be responsible for a local market (UK) to showcase social media best practice and test campaigns before rolling out globally.
The challenge for the London property is the saturated London 5* market; our role is to create cut-through and showcase the unique pillars of the brand (fashion, music and architecture) in contrast to some of the city’s more traditional 5* choices. Our responsibilities include content collection and creation, community management, influencer management and reporting.
Since working with ME London we have consistently delivered on growing the audience, engagement and organic reach. We have successfully launched an on-going Influencer engagement programme which involves conceiving and hosting an influencer event on-property each quarter as well as a paid social campaign focused on engaging with ME guests before, during and after their stay.
