We have been the global social strategy partner for the 5 star ME by Melia hotel brand since June 2014 - with the objective of building a consistent and strong global network of social channels for the brand.

Our responsibilities span organic and paid strategy, global campaign development, influencer and content strategy, global community management governance and reporting.

Critical to our strategic leadership has been our development and launch of 'Social ME' - an annual 2 day social conference hosted by eight&four, attended by over 50 social, guest experience and brand teams from around the world. We use this annual conference to deliver social best practice to local teams, unveil the major campaign for high season and inspire teams for the year ahead. This format has proved invaluable for cross promotion across property profiles, sharing influencer networks and delivering a consistent and united hero campaign across the 8 countries ME By Melia operates in.

Since taking over as the lead agency we have consistently delivered on growing the global audience, engagement and organic reach both at the brand level and across the 8 locations.

The 2016 summer campaign developed by eight&four generated in excess of €500k additional revenue Y-O-Y. We run a highly targeted Paid Social campaign targeting guests pre, during and post stay which has proved to be the most engaging paid strategy for the Group and is building brand advocacy before the guest arrives.
