We’ve been working with eight&four to transform our fragmented web presence and migrate several websites into one consumer focused site. With a challenging collection of interested parties and a website trying to fulfil many roles, eight&four managed to keep the project team focused and be the voice of reason. They challenged opinions and views allowing us to keep the project on brief. They are true professionals who clearly know their stuff and it’s been a pleasure to work with them.
Head of Emerging Technologies at Marstons PLC
We were approached by Marstons PLC to undertake a national site architecture and UX project for their national website estate. Their current digital estate covered 10 separate websites – and they wanted to consolidate these into a singular national website in order to improve User experience and brand consistency.
In a project spanning 3 months, our work began with Stakeholder engagement workshops – bringing together multiple heads of Marketing from across the PLC to discuss key branch objectives, specific target markets, content requirements and digital marketing objectives.
A comprehensive Digital Estate Review followed, identifying issues affecting User experience, a full Analytics Review and presentation back to key stakeholders.
We then moved to Site Architecture definition and Wireframing – agreeing across the Heads of Marketing a new singular Site Architecture, encompassing content from all existing websites, focused on targeted content gateways for each of Marstons specific audiences.
After the development and sign-off of a high fidelity skeletal prototype for distribution to key stakeholders, we undertook a full creative rollout and handover to their internal Development team for implementation. You can view the finished platform here. http://www.marstons.co.uk/
